Glossier Mini Haul: June 2016

Howdy howdy howdy y’all! It is mid June in Texas and y’all know what that means! It’s bloody boiling out here!! So in order to stay out of the heat, you gotta stay indoors right? Well, when it is a weekend and you’re indoors just browsing on your computer, one thing leads to another and suddenly you find yourself checking out your shopping cart on some shopping website! Ha! I know this happens to you guys too! So, every week, I’m going to do a post of just quick mini hauls to show you what I’ve been shopping lately. I’m thinking of calling this series #takemymoneytuesday on Instagram. What do you think? Catchy or crappy? By the way my Instagram & Twitter handle is @neighha, so please please come say hi , I would love to see you. Well then. This mini haul series is going to be kickstarted by just a few things that I bought from Glossier; I’ve been hearing some good buzz about this brand and wanted to see if the products are worth it.

Glossier Haul:

Glossier Haul

  • Glossier Soothing Face Mist Rosewater Spray
If you skipped my long rambly intro (ahemm, shame) then you’ll have missed the part where I complained about the hot Texas weather as if I’m new here and haven’t been residing in Texas for the last six years. Anyyyway, so come summer, I really wanted to purchase a good face mist that you can spritz onto your skin whenever you need a refresher from the scorching heat. Also, you know how no matter how good a cleanser you use, your skin always feels just a teensy bit dry? Even if it doesn’t, it’s always a good step to put some hydration back into your skin with a face mist after cleansing it. So this glossier soothing face mist is now going to be a regular member of my skincare routine am and pm.
Miscellaneous: Purchased from the Glossier website. The  Soothing Face Mist retails for $18.00.
  • Glossier Boy Brow in Black
Here comes the one and only main reason for my visit to the glossier website. I have heard sooo many raves about their boy brow and this is one of the items I definitely wanted to pick up. The boy brow is basically a grooming pomade for your brows. It will tame your brows into shape, keep them in that shape all day, give you a nice tint depending on your hair color and make your brows appear fuller. I usually use an eyebrow pencil and hence I needed some kind of gel or pomade to keep my brows in place all day. This is going to be my go to product for that purpose.
Miscellaneous: Purchased from the Glossier website. The Boy Brow retails for $16.00 a piece.
  • Glossier Balm Dotcom in Cherry
The glossier balm dotcom is very simply a lip balm- your glorified Vaseline if you will. Lately on Instagram and other social media, I’ve been seeing skincare and makeup enthusiasts showcasing either the Nuxe Reve de Miel lip balm or this Glossier one. Since I was doing a glossier purchase anyway, I decided to pick up the balm dotcom. Wearing a lot of liquid lipsticks combined with my dry skin in general leaves my lips parched and dry and crumbly as gross as that sounds. Hence why I have been on the hunt for my new holy grail lip balm that is heavy duty and will solve all my dry lips problems.
Miscellaneous: Purchased from the Glossier website. The balm dotcoms come in a variety of flavors and also in an original scent. The Balm Dotcom retails for $12.00.

That’s it for the first part to this haul series lovelies! Let me know if you’ve already tried something from this brand and if you loved it. As far as delivery goes, I was super happy with their prompt shipping and delivery. Their package that arrived on delivery was also really well put together. You get a few stickers, a nice card, a giant glossier poster and a clear makeup bag. I really liked their entire aesthetic. I got a code for 20% off for my order, you can also try to find some kind of discount code if you’re planning on buying something from them. If I can find it, I will link a coupon code in my instagram bio.

Hope you have a beautiful brow day babes,
